[Well, Ochako had just been doing a bit of training with Chow Mein - some one-on-one hand to hand combat, because the Mienfoo was always ready to throw down. Always. Plus, Ochako was slacking on her own workout, and Chow Mein really needed to bulk up for the next gym battle once they got past the Forest, and the next route. She would be the only one of Ochako's Pokemon to have a type advantage...and was crazy strong already with all the moves she came with from her previous owner/breeder.
After blocking a sweeping flurry of punches and kicks from the little yellow weasel, Ochako recalls her quickly for fear of her accidentally lunging at Eri or something. Chow Mein doesn't really have a filter when it comes to who or what she tends to throw punches at... It could be why Eclair tends to have to put her in her place so often, having that type advantage...and a no nonsense personality.]
