Hello, everyone!! I'm not here right now - probably in class or with my friends! Or on a mission. Um...leave me a message here and I'll get back to you soon, okay? Bye!!
[This is...nice. It's really nice, when Ochako just stops overthinking things and wringing her hands together over nothing, really. When she can just be bold and let things take their course without fearing the 'what-if's' anymore. Izuku is her friend, and though she more certainly does have feelings for him, it's nice just to be around him as his friend, hanging out and just...having fun together. I-It'd be nice if it was more than that, b-but--...
Their eyes meet, and Ochako feels heat rush to her face, glancing away with a shy smile before they continue talking. Aahh...why does he have to be so handsome?! Those perfect, green eyes, the charming smile, and those cute, boyish freckles and curly hair... Izuku has really grown a lot, but still seems to maintain that child-like air about him that is just so, so endearing. Dammit, sh-she said she'd put those feelings away, but...this isn't...r-really helping.]
Mmh...I'm really glad she enjoyed it so much. I really miss Eri-chan too, I--...I-I'm just glad she's safe now, and taken care of properly. [The events of the raid on the yakuza base, the fight with Overhaul...S-Sir Nighteye... Ochako still has nightmares about it, namely the latter most of all, but she really is happy that little girl is safe. Eri deserves to live a happy life, and grow up feeling loved and appreciated as a person, not as an experiment, or a tool for a criminal organization.] You were incredible, Deku-kun...as always. I'm sure we'll see everyone again soon, and Eri-chan will give you the biggest hug of all, ehehe.
[The urge to huge him, after she said that - and when he squeezes her hand back - is huge, but...she restrains herself. I-It's still...probably...not a good idea. Not a good idea to let that pot bubble over. Who knows what could happen if she allowed herself even a little bit? B-Best to just...keep it like it is. Yeah.]
Hahaha, come on, I don't think you're that bad!! Give yourself some credit too, Deku-kun...you're more capable than you think.
[While he might not realize her deeper feelings for him Izuku is so grateful for her in his life. She's been one of the reasons he's gotten as far as he has. From day one she's been supportive and there for him more than anyone else. He'll never forget how it was thanks to her that he was even able to pass the entrance exams. She's important to him and while they are stuck in this strange fantasy world learning magic, owning familiars, fighting orcs, and learning to zap things... He really does want her to be happy. He wants to work with her, learn with her, tell her all kinds of things. He wants to tell her about South Sister when the time is right and about... well.. everything else.
She's cute too, he's always thought that. Even cuter when she smiles or laughs or snorts through her nose the way she does when she's trying not to laugh. He's always been charmed by her, even if he was a nervous idiot way back when.
The dancing is enough, being able to bounce and sweep around and for a little while just forget all the things he's been through to just spend time with a close friend... It's enough. His cheeks flare naturally, him almost breaking eye contact for it but he manages to not let his nerves catch up with him this time.]
I- I hope so. [He's trying really hard lately to accept compliments better!] I just wanted her to have a good experience, to see that everything can be good, that she deserves that too. Yeah. We all did great that night...
[He smiles, looking shy.]
But- You're the one who's better at these sorts of things than I am. You're already leading...! I still have a lot to learn. [He smiles again!!] I'm having fun! Should I start calling you, Uraraka-sensei?
[Ochako would disagree with that, really, if they ever had a chance to really sick down and talk about it. Izuku didn't pass because of her. He passed because he has the heart of a true hero, rushing in to save her when she stupidly got caught under some rubble and couldn't move it because she hit her weight capacity on her quirk. He risked everyone, put himself on the line, just so she wouldn't get hurt by that big battle mech. And, in the end, Ochako saved Izuku as well. Had she not smacked him, he would have gotten seriously hurt or even died from that fall. Not to mention, her saving him earned her enough rescue points to be in the top three highest scores in the entrance exam. They helped and saved each other.
And continue to do so. It's why Ochako is so inspired by Izuku. From the very start of it all, he sort of was her hero, and her inspiration. She tries to emulate him, it's true, though nowadays it's less of that and finding her own strength while being supported by her friends and classmates - not just Izuku. Everyone. Momo, Jirou, Iida, Tsuyu, Bakugou, Kirishima...all of them lift her up higher than even her quirk possibly could, and she'll be forever grateful for each of them. But...
Deku does have a very special place in her heart, no matter how hard Ochako tries to push those feelings aside. She just can't stop caring about him. He's too good a friend and person, and...well. It'd be a lie if Ochako said she didn't want to protect his smile.]
Mmh... [Ochako grips Izuku's hand tightly, leaning in close to him to sort of bonk their foreheads together lightly...for just a second. She'll allow just a second.] I'm sure she saw a true Hero in all of us that night. Someone who saves with a smile, and a song in their heart.
So!! [Ochako grins, pulling back and spinning with Deku one more time before her grin turns a little mischievous.] You have to keep that up!! Ehehe, as your new sensei, my first assignment is for you to continue to have fun and spread smiles all around!! And maybe work on your dance posture next time, hehe. Let's go get something to drink, okay? I feel parched now, after all that!!
[It was definitely thanks to her bringing up those notes to their teachers that Izuku was considered, indeed. He'll always be thankful and grateful for her for it. And for her saving him they really did make it to the school of their dreams together. Izuku feels blessed with so many days of his life that he has such wonderful and proud classmates to work with and learn with. His dreams are coming true every single day. He wants to do them proud and really live up to the chance he's been given. To be a real hero and bring smiles without fear. He wants to protect them no matter what.
The slight brush of brow against brow makes him blush, a ready pink over his cheeks. His smile looks nerdy and warm when she mentions a smile. For a second he feels so lightheaded.]
That's... that's right!
[He's speechless! But her grin pulls him back down to the earth like a released quirk and he laughs, holding her for one last spin before the song starts to fade away.]
But- The fun I can try my best to do but was my posture really all that bad?! Sensei-!
[He jokes and tries to straighten up his spine before he moves to follow her off the dance floor for some refreshments.]
