[Well, Ochako had just been doing a bit of training with Chow Mein - some one-on-one hand to hand combat, because the Mienfoo was always ready to throw down. Always. Plus, Ochako was slacking on her own workout, and Chow Mein really needed to bulk up for the next gym battle once they got past the Forest, and the next route. She would be the only one of Ochako's Pokemon to have a type advantage...and was crazy strong already with all the moves she came with from her previous owner/breeder.

[Anyone who gets hurt, once the battle is over, will always be a priority to Ochako. Being a Hero isn't all about winning fights and beating up villains - it's about making sure people are safe and their wounds are tended to from any kind of disaster. She dutifully cleans and wraps up the scratches as best she can - nothing deep, mostly flesh wounds that look way less than they are - and is quiet throughout other than mostly telling Shinsou what she's doing and the scope of his injuries. It's very practiced.
When he praises her though... Ochako falls quiet. There's still a lot to unpack about all of this, and she's not exactly sure what will come out if she does. Anger? Sorrow? Frustration? Guilt? It could be any or all of those feelings, and she's not...really pressed to share all that vulnerability and weakness with Shinsou. He doesn't deserve all that, on top of what happened today. It's her troubles. She can...sh-she can put them away, with all the other unnecessary feelings. Just like she always does. It's fine.]

Letting her feel that he's there.
After a few seconds pass, he finally breaks the silence.]
...I'm sorry, Ochako. I know... That it hurts. Whenever everyone seems to be disappearing on you and leaving you all alone, even when it's not their fault... It hurts. You feel alone and afraid and trapped, right?

He doesn't know what it's like to be responsible for a child, but he does understand what it's like to be left alone, very much so. He understands how that can consume a person and just how much it can hurt them. He understands that better than most...]

She listens to the little conversation the girls have - in their own little kid way of communicating with one another, as kids do - but she's not really paying attention. Oh no, Ochako's eyes are scanning eye little bit of the imposter's features to see if she can spot a difference, a flaw in the "disguise", a tell in body language, anything that will make it easier to separate the real Eri from the fake. If not, well, it'd be easy enough just to tug the real deal over and put her hair into a ponytail or something...]

[That weird? Why her? Ochako always assumed Shinsou jumped in when he did because he was worried about Deku as much as she was. He saw how bad his quirk going wild was at the time, as how he could have easily hurt someone who got close - he accidentally struck her with it, after all.]
