Ah, over there! [ She says, pointing at a bunch of trees nearby. ] Candy started rolling too far away and I chased after them, and that's when we met!

[ It was a little out of eyeshot... and very fortunately Candy the Applin is alright, rolling up alongside them... but it looks like this has Eri's Pokemon confused as well.

Still, seeing Ochako's squinty face, both Eri's start to look up at her nervously. ]

D-Did we do something bad...?

[ And now there's two Eri's looking up with big sad eyes... as if one wasn't enough. ]

[Ochako follows the points finger--...fingers toward the tree line and her frown only seems to deepen a little bit. There's definitely some weird shenanigans going on around here, and while she's pretty sure it's nothing criminal, it's certainly not anything great, either. At the very least, she can probably rule out Toga, since quirks don't work in this world.

But ah, trying to navigate this and seeing those big, doe-eyes staring up at her, Ochako smiles and shakes her head. Maybe if she--]

Mm, you didn't do anything wrong, but... [Ochako hums to herself, thoughtfully.] It's a little hard to tell you apart. Eri-chan, do you remember the performance we put on at school? What was your favorite part?

[It's a bit underhanded, but hey...as a Hero, Ochako needs to get to the bottom of this before something actually bad happens. Especially when she's responsible for Eri's safety.]

[ Underhanded, sure, but a smart move. One Eri tilts her head in confusion, while the other Eri's eyes positively light up with excitement. ]

Aah!! My favorite part was when everything started getting all flashy and sparkly! And when everyone started flying up and you were there swinging around! I didn't see Deku-san for a bit, but everything was suddenly all BWAAAAH and FWAAAAAH!!

[ An incredibly detailed explanation coupled with a bunch of big arm gestures... and the other Eri's eyes start to light up as well with Eri's description. ]

Bwaah and fwaah?

Bwaah and fwaah!!

Bwaah and fwaah!!

[ And suddenly both start to break out into a fit of giggles. At the very least, though, it's clear which one is real now. ]

[And the moment she sees it, Ochako's eyes target the confused child. She listens to the little conversation the girls have - in their own little kid way of communicating with one another, as kids do - but she's not really paying attention. Oh no, Ochako's eyes are scanning eye little bit of the imposter's features to see if she can spot a difference, a flaw in the "disguise", a tell in body language, anything that will make it easier to separate the real Eri from the fake. If not, well, it'd be easy enough just to tug the real deal over and put her hair into a ponytail or something...]

Aa, I remember that part. It was a lot of fun! [She has no idea what part that is.] ...Eri-chan, what did you say your friend's name was?

[ Gasp Ochako! How could you not know!!!!!! I kid, but to clarify, Eri's talking about the part where they started sprinkling ice over the area and Ochako went swinging around touching people's raised fingertips and making them float during the concert. It was all so flashy and incredible and it was then that Eri actually managed to smile... so it was definitely Eri's favorite part, no doubt about it. ]

Ah, she said her name was Eri, just like me!

Mm, I'm Eri, just like Eri!

[ Unfortunately, they neither of them really know to make it easy for Ochako... and this Ditto has her appearance down. For others it would be easier to figure out based on just personality alone... but the Dittos already acted Eri's age, so it was far more impeccable.

Though, now that Ochako's focused in on one of them, Cotton the Ponyta will do the same and sniff the imposter for a moment... before poking the imposter with her horn. ]

Ah...

[ ...it may have been something imaginary, but it almost looked like it... boinged back into place, like if the dull tip of Cotton's horn just went against rubber. It wasn't like the liquifying effect that Toga's quirk had... it was more like the imposter Eri was literally rubbery. ]

Two Eri-chans....that's a bit--mmh?

[Ochako doesn't have time to finish her sentence before Eri's Ponyta really seems to drive home the fact that this child isn't really a child at all. This time, once the girl's body seems to bounce back at the poke of Cotton's horn, Ochako's eyes really narrow and she seems a bit more serious. This is going to be a bit difficult, she doesn't want to actually attack - that'd be a bit too traumatic for the real Eri to bear witness to, but...she can probably make this a bit easy if she plays her cards right.]

How weird. [>:C] Cotton-chan, can you do that again, please?

[Said while Ochako is reaching out to grab a Pokeball from her pocket. Humans can't be caught in one of these, can they? No...but a tricksy Pokemon can, even if they escape from it the first throw.]

I think your friend might be a bit of a prankster, Eri-chan...

[ Eri stares at Eri(?) with a little confusion, and Eri(?) stares back the same way, innocently not knowing what's going on.

Doing what Ochako asked, Cotton will promptly poke Eri(?) again. Just like before, there's a rubbery reaction, and Eri(?) will even giggle a little. At that point, she'll notice the ball in Ochako's hand and... tilt her head. She knows what a Pokeball is, but the reaction is mostly out of curiosity. ]

[Oh, this little punk!! Ochako's eyes narrow at the Imposter™ and she isn't at all buying that cutesy, innocent, doe-eyed expression. Oh no, Ochako looks pretty darn serious as she stares down Eri(?) and wrinkles her nose a little bit. She may be the nicer one of the girls, yes, but that doesn't mean she's not capable of delivering some swift punishment in the scene calls. Her own mother is sweet as sugar, but has given Ochako her own fair share of spankings from when she was a mischievous youngster. Right now is no different, even if it is a copy of the young girl.]

...I'm not fooled anymore, you know. It's really not nice to pull pranks, who--whatever you are. You can stop pretending to be Eri-chan and play nice, or I can put you in this ball and send you to time out in the storage box for a few hours. Ne? What's it going to be?

[That ball gets tossed up into the air once, then caught and gripped tightly. That's all the warning you get, bub. Choose wisely.]

Eh? Pranks?

[ It wasn't playing any pranks! It was trying to help and be a friend! Still, it looks like Ochako is... upset? Did they do something wrong? Oops...

The imposter Eri pouts sadly and looks down at the ground, eyes flickering back to Ochako every now and then before giving in. Suddenly and seamlessly, the imposter Eri will suddenly drop down a good chunk of height, instantly transitioning into the one, the only, breeder's best blob.

Behold, a very sad-looking Ditto. ]

[Oh, that is the weirdest thing Ochako has seen happen in this world to date. Her stomach flips, fingers curling into fists, because this is a little too similar to that Toga girl's quirk. Too similar to be comforting, but at least the...is that a Pokemon? It looks like a piece of bubblegum.]

Eh, what in the--...is this really another critter?

[She crouches down toward it, holding out her Gear to scan the little laffy taffy. 'Ditto', huh? So it's like a cell...able to mutate and change shape into practically anything it sees...interesting. A-At least it's cute?]

Uwaaaah!!

[ Eri's eyes, meanwhile, go wide with wonder as she reaches down and scoops up the squishy blob and into her arms. The gum-like Pokemon yelps a bit in surprise, but as Eri holds it out in front of her with a big smile on her face, it's pout turns into it's signature derpy little smile. ]

[Ah--! Ochako makes a sound of surprise, not sure if Eri should just be touching something that looks so...goopy. She's half afraid it'll get stuck on the girl's hair or clothes - or worse, be some kind of poisonous slime creature like in those oldschool RPG games she plays at game stores.

But no, it seems fine, and the little blob actually looks pleased, too. That frown turns upside down as the little girl squishes the Ditto in her arms, and Ochako is just left sighing, hnading the ball she was holding out to Eri instead.]

Ne, Eri-chan...if you like that thing so much, why don't you ask it to come along? It already seems to like you, I think... [Enough that it made a copy of her. :|a]

[ Fortunately, whatever Dittos are made of, it's not getting particularly stuck to her hair or clothes. It's more squishy than goopy, actually. ]

Really? Would that be okay?

[ She's... squeezing it a little tightly. Not that it seems to mind, but it's a little more... vertical now in Eri's arms. Mind you, it still has a derpy lil smile on it, so it really may not even mind the squeezing. ]

[Thank goodness for that, too, because Ochako really doesn't want to shove Eri and her clothes into a bath right this second, thank you. She is watching the girl and the little glob, making a bit of a face, but...well. They do seem happy together, and the Ditto was just playing a bit of a prank. No real damage done - Ochako just has a bit of an, erm...negative association with shapeshifters.

This one is cute though, she has to admit.]
