I'm not sure which system I use. It's the one with cups and teaspoons though! I get some things mixed up a lot though. Especially teaspoons and tablespoons. I also learned the hard way to try to make things as even with the top of the measuring cups as you can! [ She looks sad for juuuust a moment, thinking back on what had happened to her first batch of cookies, and how she hadn't made sure any of the ingredients didn't go over the edges of the spoons... ] At least I am good at not burning things...

[ She then cheers right back up. ]

Yeah! If we work together we'll both get better faster, and we'll have a lot of fun in the process! I know a few recipes too. The professors back home taught me how to make some things. We'd cook an clean up together as a family [ And ah, how she smiles at that. ] They showed me that anything can be fun and help people get closer so long as it's with others!

Ah, okay we use cups and teaspoons too, but also grams and liters. I'm not perfect at doing the conversions to what Americans use, but I've gotten better since being here so long. It's really all about trial and error, and a lot of practice!

[Honestly, her first time at making her mama's delicious soufflé pancakes was a total disaster. They were soggy, undercooked, and not at all fluffy and wonderful like her mother's. Soufflé pancakes are indeed hard to get right, but with how her mama seemed to makes them so easily, Ochako thought it'd be such the same. Sadly, it took her close to six tries to get them even halfway decent, and many more attempts over the length of her life to really perfect the recipe. It's the same with other home meals her mama taught her, too.]

Ooh, I'd love to try food from your home, Lillie-chan!! And I can make you some of mine, too!! I bet you never had a real bowl of ramen before!! It's not the traditional way, but I can make a tasty and quick bowl of tantanmen that'll make your mouth water! And cooking together with my mama and papa is exactly how I learned. All the recipes I know how to make really super duper well are the ones my mama taught me when I was little!!

[Maybe one day, when she has children of her own, Ochako can even teach them as well. It'd be a nice sort of tradition to pass down...a passing of family recipes from one generation to the next. It sounds a little sweet, doesn't it? Hee. ♥]

I'll be happy to practice with you! Things are learned easier with friend after all, right?

[ That's what she thinks, anyway! There are some things she's still bad at no matter how much she tries or who helps - like sewing, neither her brother nor Mizuki can really explain it in a way that makes sense - but most things she's learned easily have come from working with friends, be they human or pokemon. ]

I'll be happy to make the things I know! I even have a bunch of berries in my bag so I can make really faithful versions of some of the salads. I even know how to make a few meat things. [ She then claps her hands together a couple times. ] I don't know that I've ever had ramen at all! Or tantanmen! Have you ever had an alolan- er, Hawaiian sunset cake? That's my favourite cake in the whole world, and I learned to make it while I was here!

[ Maybe some day, once Lillie has outgrown fears of becoming like her mother, she will possibly have children of her own. She would happily teach them the joys of working together, and of occasionally getting a little messy! She would absolutely introduce them to the Professors, and together they'd all be one big family. ]
