God damn that is a y e s? Huh. Duo really was right, the worst she could've said was no, and the best was yes. Why best? No clue but Mister Maxwell seemed to know better.]

I think it would be better not to go to a movie, too, I went once and it was very visually unsettling. Maybe as an activity we can cook the food together, then go eat it somewhere you'd like. Do you like the beach? Or somewhere high up? The city is fine, too.

[Well now, this is so much nicer than anything Ochako had expected. Not that...she was expecting to be asked out on a date by Todoroki, or really anyone, but still a nice turn of events. A friendly picnic on the beach sounded pretty wonderful, actually.]

But a picnic on the beach sounds wonderful!! Or maybe brunch?
Since I was going to take you over some breakfast anyway, we can pack it up and eat there instead...
And maybe we can make cucumber sandwiches we can have for lunch later, if we decide to stay a while and go swimming, or some egg salad and onigiri! ^o^

We could do both. I mean that we could have lunch and breakfast there, go for a swim before lunch and I think that's still within the parameters of how a date works. Whatever food you think works will be fine with me. All I remember the rules being is that you should have the lady home before nine.

I'll ask a person who will know, that way we're doing this properly.

[R...Rules? Why are there ru--oh my god, did someone actually try to set her up with Todoroki as an actual date date? Ochako is slowly coming to the realization that this might be the case, considering Todoroki keeps mentioning "a person" or "a friend" and she is just...pinching the space between her eyes.

Thank goodness her sweet, precious, socially awkward friend got the idea completely wrong, because that would have been awkward as hell. Having to throat chop Todoroki's friend, that is. The date would be awkward too, but hiding a body is a bit worse. Bakugou would probably help. Maybe.]

There's no real rules to having a date with a friend, I think...
Most of that sort of thing only applies if the two people are romantically involved...and that's just a stereotype found in a lot of movies and books and stuff.
We're just going to have fun, but shouldn't stay out TOO late...I think Bakugou would get cranky if he didn't know where I was for a while.

Anyway, I'll bring some food and tea with us, can you bring a blanket and some towels?

Hm... that defeats the purpose of it being a date, then. As far as I'm understanding we can go out on dates to see if there is romantic connection. If you just want to go the beach as friends, we don't have to go on an official date. I'll take you there. Bakugo does sleep early, though so we'll have to maybe make it 8 or you'd have to stay at my place.

It won't take us until 7PM to go to the beach. We don't have to go today, either. We can wait and invite Bakugo, too, since it's not a date. I don't mind that, depending on how he feels about it.
