I felt the same way.

We can't ride them, but you can come pet it if you wish. I have to feed them later, but I can do it now, if you want to keep them company while I get it.

[It's true. Ochako definitely is a bit more taken by these types of creatures than certain others - she's a young, teenage girl and definitely reads shoujo manga and watches the same kinds of anime. The theme of pegasi and unicorns is brought up quite a bit. Not only that, but her space nerd vibes are going haywire - Pegasus is a constellation, after all, and she's internally screaming at the implications this could have.

Maybe this shitty island isn't so bad...in some ways. Or, at least the people on it aren't. If they can make things like this that help support life here, and have spaceships and mythical beasts, they can't all be bad. In fact, many of the folks she's met were pretty cool. It is what they make of it - this crappy scenario, and Todoroki's made the most of it this way.]

[She's a bit nervous, not wanting to spook the gorgeous thing, but when Todoroki moves closer, she hangs behind just a second then cautiously approaches. She's barely encountered an actual horse before, let alone a pegasus, so she tentatively reaches out her hand to stroke it. She's completely awestruck still, but when the beast doesn't seem to shy away from her, and instead presses its nose into her palm, the smile spreads wide on her face and reaches deep into her eyes as well.

Holy shit. She is petting a real life pegasus right now. And though she isn't screaming or making any loud noises, Ochako's going absolutely mental internally.]
