Hello, everyone!! I'm not here right now - probably in class or with my friends! Or on a mission. Um...leave me a message here and I'll get back to you soon, okay? Bye!!
[Side effects from using powers always sucked—Jane got tired after so long and if she pushed herself, she would get headaches too. She even got migraines when she first started using them.]
Thanks! What uses do you use it for? Every day, I mean.
[Jane, in the meantime, experiments with moving around a little and testing how Ochako’s ability feels compared to her own. It’s different, to not be thinking about the gravitational fields and applying different forces, but fundamentally, she is beginning to think their abilities are the same.]
[Ochako still gets headaches, migraines, and even nausea to the point of vomiting when using her quirk too much, or lifting an extremely heavy load at once. She trained her endurance, and can more or less keep it down really well now, but she still has to make use of the stabilizers in her hero costume from time to time. Many parts of it were specifically designed for that reason. She's even learned acupressure from reviewing how her costume works to do that with her wrist guards.]
Well, it's great for heavy lifting!! If I need to move something heavy, I just give it a tap and it floats up so long as it's not held down somehow. Ehehe, I won't lie...I've used my quirk to lift up the coach back home when I want to dust or vacuum...or when I drop something under it.
It's also really good for construction. [Her parents had a (failing) construction business, and while she was never allowed to assist since she was a minor, Ochako always offered.] Really, anything that requires heavy lifting or someone to be really high up.
Though I don't use it every day. Just when I need to.
[That is awful! It was good that she worked on endurance and she had her suit to help with the side effects, but she wished that she didn’t have to deal with them in the first place.]
Oh, I’ll have to remember that—I tend to crawl on my stomach still. Unless I’m using it for an experiment or a lab demonstration, I kind of forget I even have any powers.
[Yeah, the nausea sucks, definitely, but...it sort of keeps a balance on people who have pretty strong quirks. If there wasn't a sort of physical limiter on them...people with lots of powers could raze cities in an instant, with little to no consequence to themselves. And in a world where super powers were commonplace even among the civil folk, having a "checks and balances" system is beneficial. It's a fine line between hero and villain, after all.]
Oh, yeah!! What about your powers, Jane-san?! I want to see yours!! [She has gravity powers too, right? And some cool magical hammer!! Ochako wants to see both!]
[Indeed, and one couldn't always depend on environmental factors to keep people from becoming villains. Morality sometimes changed, as did perceptions of what was right or just.]
Oh, yeah! Here, let me get down.
[But when she does, Jane remains up in the air of her own volition. She'll call for Mjolnir soon.]
What I'm doing isn't really taking away something's gravity, but changing the amount of gravity acting upon it. So, I can make something heavy or something light not fly off.
Mm! [Putting her fingers together, Ochako again utters "release" and blinks a little, confused, when Jane does not drop. She looks down at her hands, utterly baffled, before Jane lets the poor girl know it's her own power.]
Aah...so yours is more manipulation of gravitational force...not the removal of it, like mine is.

It took me a lot of practice to get the hang of it, because if I'm not careful, I could accidentally crush something or send it flying off the planet.
