[Ochako is rubbing at her temples. God...it's the duty of a hero to fight crime and preserve the peace, this isn't anything new, but Ochako still feels...a little at odds. It's going to be so, so difficult if she runs into robotic clones of her friends or teachers. She can't trust them to be the same people now, and having to hurt them--]

[Oh, Jane would want to know, so she could at least pummel some more evil robots harder than she would have otherwise. She knows that Ochako and her friends came from a world where they were being trained to be superheroes, so this is nothing new to them, but it’s also seeming to be part of a larger conspiracy targeting them for simply being from another universe.]

I think there is. To be honest, we’re getting more evidence that this is a conspiracy. Some friends and I managed to get a part of one of the robots and we’re examining it for any clues or leads.

[Considering the villain she fought was indeed targetting her for that specific reason, saying she didn't belong in this world, and that he'd "send her home" (with a bullet to the head) the whole conspiracy theory is becoming more and more plausible...and it makes her a bit nervous.

If there's a crime syndicate, working in tandem with the government of this world...that's bad. That'd very bad. Ochako won't jump to conclusions, and she certainly won't tell anyone else without some hard evidence, but...woof. It's something to chew on.]

It's going to stir up her anger and frustration at being kidnapped to a whole other world for no reason other than to boast this loop of the government looking the so-called "good guys" bringing in heroes and ImPorts to combat a crime wave of their own making...if that turns out to be right. Gosh but she hopes it's not - Ochako already has enough on her plate with dangerous villains from her world showing up. This is just another headache entirely.]

[Oh, it would infuriate everyone. It would cause riots and Jane would happily assist with those protests and the dismantling of a government that would dare use people like this. But Ochako was right: other people already had enough concerns on their plate. Could they handle an already unstable situation becoming worse?]

Yeah! He was there at the meteor shower, but I don't know if you crossed paths. He's from my world, but he's not the Tony Stark that everyone dislikes. That one was from an alternate universe.

[If it meant getting everyone back home, safe and sound...and with their memories in tact? Probably. She'd argue that having multiple problems is just what it means to be a hero, but thankfully they're not alone in this, either. There are so many other people all striving toward the same goal, so it makes dealing with what she can and can't do a lot easier, where there are those able to pick up her slack.

But all that flies out the window because her attention span is that of a gnat, clearly. Forgive the young, excitable teenage girl for hyper-focusing on one thing at a time, Ochako is, well...she's 15.]

[Okay, for a much as Ochako wanted to squeal about pulling off a Sick Combo Move™ with a friend, especially once that shared a similar quirk, she's caught off guard by...that....name....

Is that even a name? She reads and rereads it again, and again, but after the fourth attempt to pronounce it out loud, and coming up with only a variation of "mimir", Ochako gives up entirely.]

[U-Usual schedule... Ochako stares at her phone and then wheezes a bit, looking up at the ceiling with a sad sort of smile. Being an adult sounds hard...and while she knows that will be her life the moment she becomes a Pro Hero, she'd like to appreciate her youth (and sleep schedule) a little bit longer.

[Ochako is still young - she needs to sleep more to continue her growth. But, of course, being a teenager means that she is a prone to staying up until wild hours of the night as well, especially since her schedule isn't as set right now, during summer break in America. Once school starts, she'll probably go to bed at a more reasonable time.]

[Just something more comfortable than what she's in now, which is her lounge around the house clothes. Some jean capris, a cute top, and maybe a thin overshirt or hoodie, in case the seabreeze cools her skin a bit too much. Oh, and sneakers, of course. Losing her sandals to the surf while quirk training was one of the reasons for Ochako's higher than normal spending this month...oops. But, she'll be on the beach, waiting for Jane to get there.]

[Oh, Jane would so be up for some pointers! The finer aspects of her powers are still kind of hard to control. She can lift tiny objects for a bit, but not a lot of them. On the opposite spectrum, she can lift or hold heavy objects, but it's very clumsy.]

Mm!! It's fine, I don't have school or anything yet, and I don't work that much, so I don't mind staying up a little past my normal hour. All I have to do tomorrow is house chores, but they're not too much, and I'm used to cleaning.

Especially if this is going to be an exhibition of their powers - depending on how they show off, both of them may be exhausted by the end of the night, and will need a good night's rest to recover. Hopefully Ochako doesn't toss her cookies, though the beach is probably the best place to, y'know..do that. A-Anyway!!]

Mhm!! Back home, most people's quirks manifest at the age of five, so I've had mine for about eleven years now! It's a pretty simple quirk when you look at it, but put to proper use, it can be really handy!! [Ochako touches her fingertips together, and the pads seem to glow with a soft, pink glow for a second before she's floating up in the air a few feet, totally weightless. Spinning around upside down, and even so much as leaning on the air itself, hands behind her head, legs crossed.]

I can use it on myself to make me float, and other people and objects that I touch with all five fingers!! So long as it's not held down somehow, I can float just about anything... [She releases her quirk by touching her fingertips together again, muttering "release" to herself, and she lands heavily into the sand, wobbling a bit to catch herself on the loose grains. Woof, got to work on the landing on uneven surfaces...] Mmm..idk if there's anything heavy nearby to show you.

O-Or if you trust me, Jane-san, I can pick you up! With one hand!! I promise you won't fall, it's actually impossible until I release you, ehehe.

[Exactly. They can bury it or just move it over into the ocean. It would be fine. And they could easily take a break at the beach too! Lots of room to just fall down and go, "Ouch."

Jane watches Ochako use her powers, curious about the pink glow or why it is restricted to her having to touch something first. It probably makes it easier to control. But it was pretty amazing seeing her so at ease in the air. Jane rarely did that herself, focusing on theoretical applications and manipulations of objects.

At her offer, Jane holds out her hand, eager to give it a try.]

[If Jane asks, Ochako will certainly explain the intricacies of her quirk, and why it's related to touch. Mostly because it's just how her quirk manifested - they all show up in different ways - but also because the trigger are the slightly raised, pinker than normal pads on each of her ten digits. Yes, Ochako has magical finger beans.

When Jane reaches out, she curls said fingers around her wrist and immediately activates her quirk on the young woman. About a second later, she'll feel light as a feather, and that her equilibrium is a bit skewed, considering her feet are no longer touching the ground and she's floating like she were but a helium balloon. Ochako tugs her around effortlessly by the wrist, with little to no resistance whatsoever, and then hefts Jane up and over her head like she were a figure skater, hand gripping the back of her shirt.]

Using my quirk on people used to just be to disorient them and gain the upper hand - or maybe drop them from a higher altitude before pinning and cuffing them, but now that I know martial arts, it has many more practical uses, too. Ehehe, I won't use anything on you, Jane-san, so don't worry.

But most things I float will either go up and hover at a height I determine, and remains in stasis until force is applied to them. Like this-- [She tugs Jane back down gently, then lets go of her wrist only to let her float a good foot or two off the ground a moment before pushing her shoulder with just enough force to have her move backwards a few inches.]

[Her question is interrupted when she’s suddenly floating in midair, being moved around with ease. It takes her breath away!]

Whoa!

[She listens intently as Ochako explains how she uses her powers and enacts that explanation, moving her around with an ease that Jane is a little envious of. It feels odd, to be floating like this, under someone else’s power, but the gears in her mind are turning.]

That is amazing! And all of this starts when you touch someone? Is it the pads on your fingers specifically or could you touch someone with your bare elbow?
